Web Accessibility Statement
Brand: MD World Health
Last updated: August 18, 2025
Our goal is to provide a website that is usable by the widest possible audience. We are working toward WCAG 2.2 Level AA conformance.
Our commitment
- Follow WCAG 2.2 Level AA success criteria as our target.
- Design and develop with keyboard, screen reader, and low-vision users in mind.
- Test new features before release and fix critical barriers quickly.
- Offer accessible alternatives for key content on request.
Scope
This statement covers the MD World Health website and content we control. Third-party platforms and embedded tools are covered by their own policies. We select vendors that state alignment with accessibility standards where feasible.
Conformance status
Target standard: W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2, Level AA.
Current status: partially conformant. Some components may require additional work. We are tracking issues and delivering fixes as part of our release cycles.
Measures we take
- Design system with color contrast checks and focus states.
- Semantic HTML and ARIA only when needed.
- Keyboard access for navigation, menus, dialogs, and forms.
- Captions or transcripts for time-based media we publish.
- Content review for clear language and meaningful link text.
- Periodic audits using assistive tech and automated tooling.
Testing and review
- Assistive tech spot checks: NVDA, VoiceOver, TalkBack.
- Browser support: current versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge.
- Automated checks: axe DevTools and browser accessibility trees.
- Manual keyboard walkthroughs for all critical user flows.
Compatibility and technical specs
- Built for HTML5, WAI-ARIA 1.2 where needed, CSS, and unobtrusive JavaScript.
- Works without a mouse. Use Tab, Shift+Tab, and Enter or Space to operate controls.
- Optimal on modern browsers. Older or unsupported browsers may not render all features.
Known limitations
- Third-party embeds such as payment widgets, video players, or maps may have their own constraints.
- Legacy blog posts may lack full heading structure or alt text. We are updating these items over time.
If you encounter an issue, tell us and we will provide an alternative or a fix.

We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of our site.
